Çağdaş Erçelik

He was born in Izmir in 1983. He finished the painting Department of Izmir Fine Arts High School in 2001. He graduated from Mimar Sinan University Sculpture Department in 2005. In 2008, He graduated from the same department master program. He is still attending the PhD program in this section.

The expression of man's mental state is at the heart of my work. I think it's the main goal of art to convey a strong emotion to the audience, and that's what I'm trying to do in my sculptures.

Sometimes in my work, which I put forth inspired by literary works, films, theatrical works, historical characters, I establish the characters in spatial compositions.
