Onur Ayan

He was born in 1978 in İstanbul. He had graduated from Economy Faculty of İstanbul University in 2000. During the university period, he had participated in-series exhibitions of İSÜF (Photography community of İstanbul Univ.)

In 2001, he was employed as a marketing professional in telecom sector. During his professional career, he had also dedicated himself to discover and  improve his personal expression and skill in the means of being a photographer. 

In 2016, he had decided to spend his whole time for photography  and  quit his professional career in telecom sector.  

Concern of perfectionism in the means of composition and technical aspects, is one of the foreground in his works. 

The other foreground is the storytelling part that he builds over this formation, leave traces in the form of his personal expression. 

On the other hand, he prefers to leave open paths that are not directly visible within the exposure moment. So the viewers of his photographs may imagine about their own personal stories as well.

To reinforce this effect, he prefers a simple aesthetic expression. In the means of formation; geometric patterns, light and shadow transitions are often used meticulously.
